Win A Date With Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black (Or At Least Buy Some Good Karma)
If you’ve ever fantasized about going on a date with Olympic diver Tom Daley or Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, now you can …
… Pay ten bucks for the opportunity to go on a date with them.
No, Daley and Black haven’t started an escort service. They’re raising money for two charities that are near and dear to their hearts, The Brain Tumour Charity in the UK and The Human Rights Campaign in the US.
In 2011, Daley lost his father to a brain tumor, and a year later Black lost his older brother to cancer. Which is why Blaley (or Dalack … seriously, why don’t these guys have a portmanteau?) have offered up a chance for you and a guest to join them on what they’re calling “the greatest double date ever”.
The winner will get a VIP trip to London, a makeover from a professional stylist (come on, you don’t expect Tom and Dustin to be seen in public with some ordinary schlub, do you?), followed by dinner and a night on the town.
To enter, go to Omaze.com/London.

And just in case you don’t win, here are some other gay couples, both past and present, that we’d pay money to party with.
Marc Jacobs & Harry Louis
The clothing designer and the porn star were very conspicuous with their love, cavorting about on the beach in the sexiest bathing suits possible. But alas, after nearly a year-and-a-half together, the couple split in 2013.
Tab Hunter & Rudolf Nureyev
In his 2005 memoir Confidential, movie hearttrob Hunter mentions (rather, skims over) a brief and clandestine affair he had with the Russian dancer, who he met while enjoying a Mediterranean holiday in the late 1960s. While Putin certainly wouldn’t have approved, we do — and wish we’d been invited to join.
Dan Savage & Terry Miller
We envision a date with Dan and Terry would involve good food, an intense political discussion, and lots of free advice. And hopefully Dan wouldn’t mind us fantasizing about some alone time with Terry.
Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi
Who wouldn’t want to spend an evening with America’s best loved (and funniest) lesbian and her beautiful and talented actress wife? Even if we did nothing but sit around their amazing Santa Barbara love nest playing Heads Up!, it would surely be an evening of laughs and good cocktails.
Cary Grant & Randolph Scott
While many close to Grant and Scott have denied that the pair (who lived together on and off for ten years) had anything beyond a platonic relationship, the rumors of something more have lingered on for decades. Just imagine how fun it must have been to attend one of their pool parties …
Reichen Lehmkuhl & Ryan Barry
Speaking of pool parties, while we reckon a day of fun in the sun with Amazing Race winner Reichen and his former boyfriend, model and trainer Ryan might be lacking in meaningful conversation, it would at the very least be lousy with eye candy.
Lance Bass & Michael Turchin
Hopefully a date with Lance and Michael would be as over-the-top as the wedding they’re planning. Perhaps it would even involve a trip into space. If nothing else, it would be fun to get the dirt on all of Lance’s closeted celebrity friends.
Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov
Oh, the drama! That in itself would be worth the price of an up-close-and-personal with this couple.
