It’s often said three kinds of people who instinctively draw themselves toward danger – firefighters, police officers, and journalists. And while you might say a swarm of cicadas doesn’t warrant the “danger” label, it would be hard to question the bravery of Topeka’s KSNT reporter Katya Leick, who was forced to face off against these flying critters while trapped on top of a tank for a report on “Victory Week” at nearby Fort Riley.
