‘A Conway Marriage Story’ Features Kate McKinnon’s Kellyanne and Beck Bennett’s George in an SNL Parody of the Netflix Film: WATCH

Trump aide Kellyanne Conway and her husband George’s conflicts over her boss get reimagined in a brilliant send-up of Netflix’s Golden Globe-nominated film Marriage Story on Saturday Night Live. Scarlett Johansson, the film’s real-life leading actress and SNL’s guest host, plays the couple’s therapist.

Mimicking the opening scenes of Marriage Story, in which the troubled couple reads off a list of therapy-mandated things they love about one another.

“I love our pet names for each other,” says McKinnon’s Conway.

“Hey loser,” she says to Bennett’s George.

“Hey ghoul,” he responds.

A subsequent knock-down, drag-out fight reveals the truth – they’re both media-hungry attention whores: “You’re not even verified on Twitter, where is your blue check, George?”

WATCH: ‘Bombshell’ director Jay Roach on being a closet case at Fox News

Bombshell hits cinemas this December 13, bringing with it a whole lot of, well, bombshells.

As directed by Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, the Austin Powers series) and written by Charles Randolph (The Big Short), the movie recounts the toxic work environment at Fox News in the leadup to the 2016 Presidential Election. Anchors Gretchen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) and Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron) fight to survive in the male-dominated environment overseen by media mogul Roger Ailes (John Lithgow). Ailes has an agenda to push right-wing outrage, rumors and political talking points…and to take advantage of ambitious young women like Kayla (Margot Robbie) who’s career goals allow Ailes to thrive as a sexual predator. The film also stars Kate McKinnon in a dramatic role as Jess, a closeted lesbian trying to survive at Fox.

Fishermen Save Bald Eagle Caught in the Grip of a Giant Octopus: WATCH

Fishermen Save Bald Eagle Caught in the Grip of a Giant Octopus: WATCH

Fishermen off of Canada’s Vancouver Island saved a bald eagle this week as it struggled in the clutches of a giant octopus.

The fishermen worked at Mowi Canada West, the leading salmon aquaculture company in British Columbia.

Wrote Mowi: “Our staff at our Mahatta West farm in Quatsino rescued an eagle that had bitten off more than it could chew when it tried to catch an octopus. They are used to seeing the wonders of nature around them on a regular basis, but they knew that this was a once in a lifetime experience. The octopus swam away unharmed and the eagle recovered on a branch for around 10 minutes before it flew away.”

Said salmon farmer John Ilett: “We weren’t sure if we should interfere because it is mother nature, survival of the fittest. But it was heart wrenching — to see this octopus was trying to drown this eagle. I was able to just latch on to the octopus and give it a little tug. It released its grip … which gave the eagle just enough time to get to shore. We weren’t sure exactly how it was going to go down when I tested the pole.”

Husbands Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have given Architectural Digest a tour of their brownstone home in Harlem, New York City.

Actor Harris met fellow actor and chef Burtka in 2004. They became parents to twins Gideon and Harper in 2010 and married in 2014. They’ve been in their current home for around six years.

Burtka explains the building dates back to the late 1800s. During its time, its been a speakeasy for mill workers and music school for girls.

To amuse and welcome guests, the men have a large, old apothecary cabinet with drawers. Guests can open a drawer to find a surprise gift, such as a gift card.

The house is full of contemporary art, and Burtka also reveals a passion for taxidermy, for which he’s even taking classes. One room – the parlor – has a large bar and is decorated with stuffed monkeys!

The house features two huge Christmas trees, and the men explain some of the background to the decorations and many of the family portraits around the home.

Harris and Burtka clearly love the holidays. They also featured in a recent holiday campaign for Walgreens, which they’ve shared on their social media.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was called out by Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) after slamming Hunter Biden for substance abuse issues during Thursday’s impeachment hearing.

Said Johnson, to laughter from observers: “I would say the pot calling the kettle black is not something we should do. I don’t know — I don’t know what members, if any, have had problems with substance abuse, been busted for DUI, I don’t know. but if I did, I wouldn’t raise it against anyone on this committee. I don’t think it’s proper. And, you know, I think we have to get back down to what is most important here.”

WATCH: Do you benefit from straight-passing privilege?

WATCH: Do you benefit from straight-passing privilege?

(Photo: YouTube)

The latest comedy YouTube video from Michael Henry touches on a slightly more serious topic: Is life easier for gay men who pass as straight? Or do those who are more easily identifiable as gay have some advantages over their ‘straight-acting’ brothers?

In the video, Henry brings up the subject with two friends – one of whom, Darren, is straight-acting while the other, Tonatiuh, is more… well, camp.

“Do you think it’s easier to be a gay person if you could come across as straight?” asks Henry, leading Tonatiuh to say that straight-passing gays have benefits – to the surprise of their more traditionally masculine-appearing friend, Darren.

What sort of benefits are there to passing as straight, Darren asks.

“You probably don’t get called f*ggot in the streets,” offers Henry. “And some gay men might find you more attractive because you come across as straight.” He also mentions potential career advancement benefits.

“You get to reveal your gayness when you feel like it, when you’re ready for it, and when you feel safe. Some queer people don’t get the same privilege,” adds Tonatiuh.

However, Darren counters that Henry and his other pal have enjoyed some benefits from being “clearly gay.”

He says it’s a burden to have to constantly come out and explain to people his sexuality – something that people who are “clearly gay” have to do less often.

Henry agrees that he, “never even had to come out – everybody just knew who I was before I knew who I was.”

Darren replies that his parents were shocked when he came out as they had no idea. He also says that those who appear straight-acting may be pretending, depressed, or envious of those who can behave in a way many perceive as more obviously gay.

However, he concedes he’s never been mocked or called names such as “sissy” or “fairy”.

The discussion is undercut with plenty of comic moments, but at its heart is a real message: being your authentic self can come with all sorts of challenges.

Boston Man Left Scarred for Life After Homophobic Attack by Man Wielding Box Cutter, Shovel: WATCH

A Boston man was beaten in the head with a shovel and slashed with a boxcutter in a homophobic attack that left him scarred for life.

WCVB reports: “The 25-year-old man who was attacked had just left Prentiss Street when Eddie Smith, 58, of Boston, began directing anti-gay slurs at him, according to the police report. Smith hit the man with a shovel and cut him with a box cutter near his eye, police said. Officers said they found a box cutter and a snow shovel. The injured man told police Smith had directed anti-gay slurs at him in the past.”

Smith was released on his own recognizance and will be arraigned this week. Said his victim: “I just hope I don’t see him soon. It just sucks that now I have to remember him when I look at my face for the rest of my life.”

A new Joe Biden ad shows world leaders laughing at Trump and includes footage from this week’s NATO summit in London.

The world is laughing at President Trump. They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership.

We cannot give him four more years as commander in chief. pic.twitter.com/IR8K2k54YQ

Says Biden in the ad: “The world sees Trump for what he is. Insincere, ill-informed, corrupt, dangerously incompetent, and incapable in my view of world leadership. And if we give Donald Trump four more years, we’ll have a great deal of difficulty of ever being able to recover America’s standing in the world, and our capacity to bring nations together.”
