Roseanne Barr will headline a Trump gala at Mar-A-Lago
Roseanne Barr is answering the clarion call of the Trumpettes. The actress, who was ousted from her self-named ABC show in 2018 after posting a racist tweet, will be the featured speaker at the next Trumpettes gala, scheduled to address a sold-out crowd of female Trump supporters at the POTUS’ Mar-A-Lago resort on February 1.

“Roseanne is a really loyal Trump supporter. If there was ever anybody who really put their mouth on the line and said how much she loves the president, she is one of them,” Trumpettes founder Toni Holt Kramer told The Palm Beach Post, which broke the news. “And you can’t get a hotter name in town.”
Holt Kramer said that fellow Trumpette Daphne Barak arranged the appearance. “I said there’s only one person I want,” Holt Kramer explained. “I only want Roseanne because she is the magic right now. So Daphne said she called Roseanne, who was in Hawaii cooking [Tuesday] night, and she says to Roseanne, ‘Will you come to Palm Beach and do the event?’ And Roseanne said, ‘Yeah, I want to come. I’ll be there.’”

Barr has avowed her fealty to Trump before. “4 those who wonder-back in the day when I was called a ‘liberal’ by journalists, I used to answer-‘I’m not a Liberal, I’m a radical’ & I still am-I voted Trump 2 shake up the status quo & the staid establishment,” she tweeted in December 2017.
She also ran for president herself in 2012 under the left-wining Peace and Freedom Party, earning 0.05% of the popular vote.
