It’s New Year’s Eve, the writing says,
In nineteen-ninety-three.
I turn the photo over,
And shriek at what I see.
One guy who’s had a few too many
Carlsbergs at the bar,
Is posing in a mini skirt,
And tarty black lace bra!
He’s holding up the mini skirt,
To show briefs of hot pink lace,
And shiny scarlet lipstick
Is smeared across his face.
I’m still standing laughing,
He really does look sad!
But suddenly I stop and gasp:
“Oh my God! That’s DAD!”
