Stacey Dash asks people to ‘support’ her ‘normal’ heterosexual marriage after domestic abuse arrest
Professional homophobe Stacey Dash is finally breaking her silence about her arrest in Florida over a week ago.
The fired FOX News contributor and Trump devotee, who has a long history of making inflammatory remarks about LGBTQ people, was arrested outside of Tampa on September 29 for allegedly beating her fourth husband, Jeffrey Marty, after his 15-year-old daughter called her a bitch. Dash was booked into the Land-O-Lakes Detention Facility on a domestic battery charge, where she was unable to make $500 bail.

Over the weekend, the 52-year-old failed actress, who told police she was a white woman at the time of her arrest, announced the charge against her has been dropped and says the whole situation has been completely blown out of proportion.
“Like normal married couples my husband and I had a marital dispute that escalated,” Dash wrote on Twitter. “Thank you for your support and love. Please give him th [sic] same.”

Hmmm. We’re gonna go out on a limb here and say it’s not “normal” for married couples to call 911 and have each other arrested for beating one another over remarks made by their stepchildren.
In a longer statement posted to her official website, Dash adds:
The marital dispute, while personal and unfortunate, has since been blown out of proportion. An earlier report on TMZ.com sited her manager telling TMZ that she was attacked by her husband – both the sources relationship to Ms. Dash and the events of the evening were misrepresented.
Ms. Dash is a domestic abuse survivor from a previous relationship and has championed for other abuse victims to speak up.
Did you get all that, folks? Stacey Dash, the woman who famously suggested trans people pee “in the bushes” rather than use public restrooms and accused Barack Obama for the Pulse massacre in 2016, would like our love, support, and respect.
Dash and Marty were married in April 2018, 10 days after meeting. Prior to that, Dash was married to Brian Lovell from 1999 to 2005, James Maby from 2005 to 2006, and actor Emmanuel Xuereb from 2009 to 2011. She has two children–a son with ex-boyfriend Christopher Williams, and a daughter with ex-husband Lovell.
