Pat McCrory Realizes Being Anti-Trans Could Cost Him Job As N.C. Governor

McCrory-Pat-1

North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory seems to be well aware that his reelection may be threatened by the rampant backlash over the state’s anti-trans law.

The Raleigh News & Observer reports that McCrory made a 15-minute appearance on “The Big Show with John Boy and Billy,” during which he was introduced as “the most beat-up man in America.”

McCrory licked his wounds throughout the segment, revealing that there were several events he’d been asked not to attend over the brouhaha.

“And now, sadly, in our nation if you have disagreement and you’re on the wrong side of that disagreement, according to the thought police, you’re dispensed of. You’re exiled,” McCrory said.

“I’ve even had some people call me: ‘Please don’t, governor, don’t show up to this event because I have people who disagree with you, and we don’t want it.”

“That’s not America,” he said. “Society is changing quickly and anybody who gets in the way is in trouble. And I might be in trouble. I might be looking for a side job over here.”
