Oxford Circus Incident: Tube Station Evacuated Amid Scenes Of Panic
Oxford Circus Tube station has been evacuated and armed police are on the scene during Friday evening rush hour, witnesses have reported.
British Transport Police said officers were on the scene responding to an incident but gave no further details.
We continue to respond to an incident at Oxford Circus. The station is currently closed, please avoid the area at this time. Officers are on scene.
