Open Question: Was what I said the right thing to do?
My grandma was talking about religion and one thing led to another she started talking about being gay. She says it’s a choice and making gay marriage legal was the worst thing that could happen. I dont really know about the bible but what she said just pissed me off. If I had a secret and I knew if I told anyone something bad might happen to me I would keep that **** a secret. I’m glad that everyone can be happy with themselves and the people they love. Their sexual interest is not her concern anyway. I told her this and I got in trouble by all of my family calling me disrespectful. This is what I said” I don’t think thats right to say. It’s not a choice .I won’t let you tell me false statements because what God said. Your religion can suck all the people who are homosexuals ***.”
