GLAAD announced today that it is now accepting submissions for the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, and the issues that affect their lives.

To be considered, submitted materials must be received by Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 6pm PT.

To be eligible for the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards, projects must have been published, released, or broadcast in the United States between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. Potential nominees may be submitted in both English and Spanish-language media categories. 

Nominees for the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be announced in January 2020. Award recipients will be announced at each of the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards ceremonies in New York and Los Angeles. The dates for these ceremonies will be announced later this year.
