The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be held Sunday, honoring the best in film and television. Several LGBTQ people and inclusive projects have been nominated such as films Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favourite, A Star is Born, and Crazy Rich Asians and television series Pose, Killing Eve, A Very English Scandal and The Assassination of Gianni Versace. LGBTQ favorites Troye Sivan, Lady Gaga, Ben Wishaw and Billy Porter all received nominations. For a full list of LGBTQ nominations click here. The spinoff of GLAAD Media Award winning-series The Fosters, Good Trouble premieres this Tuesday on Freeform. The show follows characters Callie and Mariana as they start their professional lives in Los Angeles. Favorite queer characters from The Fosters Jude, Stef, and Lena will appear over the course of the show, as well as new LGBTQ characters including their bisexual neighbor Gael and lesbian landlord Alice. Good Trouble: Tuesday, 8pm on Freeform.
The sixth season of comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine premieres this Thursday on its new network, NBC. The GLAAD Media Award recipient was canceled by Fox last year before NBC picked it up. The sixth season will continue to follow the Brooklyn police squad, led by out gay Captain Raymond Holt, and including bisexual detective Rosa Diaz, played by bi actress Stephanie Beatriz.
