Must-See LGBTQ TV: ‘The Comedy Line Up: Part 2’ drops on Netflix, and a brand new ‘Wynonna Earp’

On Friday, Netflix will premiere the second half of The Comedy Line-Up, a series of 15-minute sets from a variety of comedians. Among this batch are lesbian comedian Emma Willmann, who can be seen on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Matteo Lane, a gay comedian who was one of the panelists on GLAAD and HBO’s “The New Queer Comedy” panel in Provincetown. The first half of The Comedy Line-Up is available to watch now on Netflix, and features queer comedians Sam Jay, Sabrina Jalees, and Tim Dillon. The Comedy Line-Up: Part 2: Friday, on Netflix.
Friday also sees a brand new episode of Wynonna Earp, the science fiction/Western show, that has a accumulated a huge fan base, for both its fun tone and its inclusion and positive treatment of queer characters. GLAAD’s own Megan Townsend recently sat down with the actors who play fan favorite couple Waverly Earp and Nicole Haught, and the video is below. In this week’s episode, Lady Luck seems to have abandoned Wynonna and Nicole when an errand for Nedley goes terribly wrong; and Mama discovers Doc’s secret. Wynonna Earp: Friday, 9pm on Syfy.
