The new reboot drama Roswell, New Mexico premieres this week. The series follows bio researcher Liz Ortecho, the daughter of undocumented immigrants, who returns to her small hometown after tragedy strikes. Once there, she runs into Max, who has been keeping his secret identity as an actual alien secret all these years. The ensemble cast includes Alex Manes, a military vet who is dealing with depression and physical trauma after a lifechanging injury while also working to balance his father’s expectations for his life with Alex’s own dreams and the man he loves. Roswell, New Mexico: Tuesday, 9pm on The CW.
Schitt’s Creek returns in the U.S. for season five this Wednesday on Pop. This season, David will be focusing on building his relationship with Patrick now that Rose Apothecary is finally running smoothly. He wants to prove that he is willing to seriously commit, from searching for an apartment to joining a baseball team. The rest of the Roses are also working to take their relationships and professional goals to the next level. Schitt’s Creek: Wednesday, 10pm on Pop.
Season two of Star Trek: Discovery returns to the streaming service CBS All Access this Thursday. This season, the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery joins forces with Captain Pike on a new mission to investigate a series of mysterious red signals and the appearance of an unknown being called the Red Angel. As the crew investigates these happenings, Michael is forced to face her past as her estranged brother Spock returns. Star Trek: Discovery: Thursday on CBS All Access.
