Must-See LGBTQ TV: Season finale of ‘The Bold Type’ and new episode of “Wynonna Earp’

The season two finale of The Bold Type airs on Tuesday. The dramedy about three friends who work at the fictional Scarlet Magazine includes queer main character Kat, and her girlfriend, lesbian Muslim artist Adena. The show has already been renewed for a third season, and will be returning to Freeform next summer. In the finale, Kat faces pressure from Jacqueline to make their Paris party a success while attempting to reset her relationship with Adena. The Bold Type: Tuesday, 8pm on Freeform.
This Friday, there’s a new episode of Wynonna Earp that is a further exploration into Nicole’s past. The sci-fi show has been lauded for the portrayal of the relationship between Nicole and Waverly Earp, as well as having “The World’s Nicest Fandom” and GLAAD recently interviewed stars Dominique Provost-Chalkley and Kat Barrell. In this upcoming episode, the forest reveals a clue to Nicole’s past; and Wynonna pays an unexpected visit to her mother. Wynonna Earp: Friday, 9pm on SyFy.
