Must-See LGBTQ TV: New season of ‘Killing Eve’ and premiere of ‘Mrs. America’

Season three of BBC America’s Killing Eve premieres this Sunday night. The show follows the cat and mouse relationship between queer assassin Villanelle and spy Eve. In the season three premiere, Eve is attempting to rebuild her life, having been shot by Villanelle. Villanelle is also moving on, until she is approached by an old foe. Killing Eve: Sunday, 8pm on BBC America and AMC.

Miniseries Mrs. America premieres Wednesday on Hulu. The show follows the fight for the equal rights amendment in the 1970s, focusing on anti-feminist and anti-LGBTQ lobbyist Phyllis Schlafly along with several feminist leaders of the time including Gloria Steinem, Shirley Chisolm, and Betty Friedan. The show delves into queer rights of the era as well, shown through queer characters including Schlafly’s son. Mrs. America: Wednesday, on Hulu.
