Must-See LGBTQ TV: Documentary ‘Moroni for President,’ and ‘9-1-1’ explores Hen’s past

Monday’s episode of 9-1-1, the Ryan Murphy produced show that follows first responders in Los Angeles, will focus on lesbian firefighter and paramedic Henrietta “Hen” Wilson and her past. In this week’s episode, Hen re-lives her evolution into the firefighter she is today as she recalls the first times she met Chimney and Athena. 9-1-1: Monday, 9pm on Fox.

Documentary Moroni for President airs this Tuesday on PBS as part of their America ReFramed series. The film follows Moroni Benally, a gay college professor running for president of the Najovo Nation. Moroni for President: Tuesday, 5pm and 9pm on PBS.
