In a deeply intimate and honest feature documentary, filmmaker Sharon Shattuck tells the story of her experience as the daughter of a transgender parent, exploring the enduring relationship between her parents in POV’s From This Day Forward. The film will be shown alongside Eric Rockey’s award-winning short film, Pink Boy, a portrait of a gender-nonconforming 6 year-old growing up in rural Florida. From This Day Forward: Monday, 10pm on PBS.
The Real O’Neals returns Tuesday night, timed to National Coming Out Day. Meanwhile, Eileen develops further feelings for the vice principal of Kenny’s school. The Real O’Neals: Tuesday, 9:30pm on ABC.
Tuesday’s episode of Drunk History will include a re-telling of the beginning of the Stonewall riots and the advocacy work of the legendary Marsha P. Johnson. The episode features Transparent stars Trace Lysette and Alexandra Grey. Drunk History: Tuesday, 10:30pm on Comedy Central.
