Must-See LGBT TV: 68th Primetime Emmys, brand new series 'Strut,' and the return of 'Transparent'

The 68th Primetime Emmys air live on ABC Sunday night with the red carpet beginning at 7 and the show kicking off at 8pm. Several LGBTQ creators, actors, and inclusive series picked up nominations, check out the full list here.Orange is the New Black and Doubt star Laverne Cox will also be one of the evening’s presenters. 68th Primetime Emmys: Sunday, 8pm on ABC.

The new reality series Strut, executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg, premieres Tuesday night on Oxygen. The series follows transgender models Laith De La Cruz, Dominique Jackson, Isis King, Ren Spriggs and Arisce Wanzer as they try to make it in the business. The models are all signed to Slay Model Management, the first exclusively trans modeling agency. Strut: Tuesday, 9pm on Oxygen.

Amazon’s hit original series Transparent returns with all episodes of the third season premiering Friday. In the third season, Maura commits to a relationship with Vicki and takes a job fielding calls to a suicide prevention phone line at an LGBTQ center, Ali and Leslie navigate their new relationship, and Sarah finds a new path to spirituality. Transparent: all episodes Friday on Amazon Prime.
