The documentary An Honest Liar about magician and escape artist James “the Amazing” Randi airs Monday on PBS’ Independent Lens. The film focuses on Randi’s history as a skeptical educator and his public exposés of faith healers, psychics, and others claiming paranormal experiences and his relationship with his long-time boyfriend José Alvarez.
