Must-See LGBT TV: '2017 Miss America Competition' includes first out contestant

Tonight’s 2017 Miss America Competition will include the pageants first out contestant, Miss Missouri Erin O’Flaherty. O’Flaherty says she is “excited to represent the LGBT community” and her platform – an advocacy initiative each contestant must adopt – will be suicide prevention. She has previously worked with The Trevor Project. The 2017 Miss America Competition: Sunday, 9pm on ABC.
Masters of Sex returns this week and the new season will continue to explore Helen and Betty’s relationship as they finally have the child they’ve longed for. This season will cover 1968 and into the early 70s. Masters of Sex: Sunday, 10pm on Showtime.
