A man has been arrested and charged with assault and attempted rape for an attack on a woman inside the Flaming Saddles gay bar in Hell’s Kitchen on Friday, NYC, ABC7 reports:

34-year old Ricardo Lamberti of Manhattan is charged with trying to rape a woman as she walked out of the bathroom of the Flaming Saddles Saloon on Ninth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen. Police say the suspect choked her until she lost consciousness, threw her to the ground and removed her underwear.

He was interrupted by security at the bar and fled the scene, according to investigators.
