Earlier this month, Columbia Records released WALLS, the new album by Streisand. It’s Streisand’s first album consisting primarily of original songs since 2005. This album encompasses a unified social theme, and is notable for being a rare instance of political views entering her music. The album features the contemporary up-tempo single “Don’t Lie To Me,” which Streisand co-wrote. The song shares the guiding principles and values she has believed in, spoken about, and fought for her entire life…the truth.
