Liberty Counsel Launches Shopping Guide to Expose Retailers Who Hate Christmas: WATCH
Mat Staver’s SPLC-designated hate group Liberty Counsel yesterday launched its thirteenth Friend or Foe Christmas Campaign to expose retailers that the tax-exempt organization believes are not down with the true “spirit of Christmas.”
The campaign’s “Naughty or Nice” list gives the thumbs up to retailers who are “returning to the Spirit of Christmas” by simply using the C word in place of “holiday.”

Among the retailers receiving a glowing reports is Barnes & Noble with 45,549 “usages of Christmas in terms of products or advertising” and only 14,549 “usages of Holiday in terms of products or advertising.” “Jesus, Nativity, or Biblical elements” are meanwhile referenced 31,021 times.
Cowering on the naughty list is Gap, Inc. which not even once refers to “Christmas” or “Jesus, Nativity, or Biblical elements” while still managing to get “holiday” in ten times.
Also taken to task are “public officials in schools and county offices [who] are often cowering to grinch-like atheist organizations threatening lawsuits.”
Staver also asks that towns and organizations receiving letters “demanding that Christmas be censored” should give him a call because he “has successfully educated and litigated many of these cases.”
Earlier this year, Staver suggested there should be “sanctuary cities” to protect people from abortion and gay marriage.
