LGBT protest at The Dorchester Hotel – 6 April 2019
The Weekly Bull posted a photo:
Protest by the LGBT+ community and supporters at the Dorchester Hotel, London, following the announcement of horrific new laws which include stoning to death of homosexuals and adulterers by the Sultan of Brunei who owns the hotel.
The protesters called for a boycott of the Sultan’s hotels and Brunei businesses and eventually burst through the barriers erected around the hotel. Rainbow-coloured stones were laid on the hotel steps and a Pride flag tied to the entrance roof. The Financial Times, meanwhile, reports that many large organisations have cancelled events and bookings at the hotel chain as a result of the Sultan’s decree.
