Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel to be honored for being vocal LGBTI supporters

Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel will be getting lots of gay and straight love in October.

The former N Sync member and 7th Heaven actress will be presented with the Inspiration Award by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network at the GLSEN Respect Awards.

They awards showcase the work of students, educators, individuals and corporations who serve as exemplary role models and have made a significant impact on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth.

‘Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have consistently been visible and committed allies,’ said
GLSEN Executive Director Dr. Eliza Byard.

The awards were introduced in 2004 and are held each year in Los Angeles and New York. The LA awards take place on 23 October at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Previous GLSEN Respect Awards honorees have included Julia Roberts and Danny Moder; Derek Hough; Matthew Morrison; NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt; Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg; Bob and Harvey Weinstein; former NBA player Jason Collins; Darren Star; Shonda Rhimes; Michele and Rob Reiner; Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak and Simon Halls and Matt Bomer.
