John Oliver Weighs in on Trump’s Attacks on the NFL: WATCH
John Oliver weighed in on Trump’s hateful reaction to protests of racial discrimination by black players and allies in the NFL, following remarks by the president over the weekend.
Said Trump, referring to Colin Kaepernick and others: “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out. He’s fired. He’s fired!’”
Said Oliver: “Kaepernick’s own mother, incidentally, magnificently responding, ‘I guess that makes me a proud bitch.’”

Oliver also added that Trump has really hit rock bottom on this:
“Even NFL commissioner Roger Goodell denounced the president’s comments. And when you have lost the moral f**king high ground to Roger Goodell, something is horribly wrong.”
