Idaho Same-Sex Couples Can Begin Marrying On October 15
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has dissolved the stay blocking same-sex marriage in Idaho, The Spokesman Review and BuzzFeed report.
Couples can begin marrying 9 a.m. MT on Wednesday.
On Oct. 7, the 9th Circuit Court struck down both Idaho and Nevada’s gay marriage bans, but the U.S. Supreme Court issued a stay after a last-minute appeal by Idaho officials, temporarily putting gay marriages on hold in the state. On Oct. 10, the nation’s highest court said Idaho could proceed with same-sex marriages.
