Hello, I’m Anya
A2N0Y6A posted a photo:
I’m 44, i live in Seattle, Washington.
I’m Transgender, I prefer ‘Anya’ to pronouns. I do not see myself as either male or female. I’m not transitioning fully to ‘female’ in the ways many may think of us and to be honest neither ‘She’ nor ‘He’ fit me, my body now 3 years on Estrogen or my outlook. I’m a bit of both and i understand this can be complex for some who’ve never met someone like me. I’m otherwise like everyone else. 🙂
I’m disabled, i have Marfan Syndrome & am Bipolar.
I learned DSLR photography while homeless on the streets of Seattle beginning in 2015 after a year and a half of Point And Shoot photography while homeless. I found photography helped me a lot during that difficult time in my life and it continues to be in my view perhaps the best ‘therapy’ in many ways. Having a positive creative outlet helps a lot.
All of my photographs are shot with my Nikon D3300, with most taken with my beloved Tamron 18-200mm lens and a few older ones with the kit Nikkor 18-55mm lens.
I now live in my own apartment in Seattle with help from agencies who assist disabled homeless people. I’m stable but i struggle financially. I’m not a professional photographer available for hire, i sell prints and products featuring my photographs to help me.
I’m friendly, i like everyone unless they are disrespectful to me for being LGBT. It makes no difference to me what anyone else is or what they believe. As long as i’m treated with respect and not as someone to be converted to whatever religion someone is pushing on everyone or told i’m less of a person for being Transgender and/or for being someone who dates men i accept everyone.
Here in Seattle i have friends of every race, religion and view there is pretty much. Differences in belief / lifestyles don’t prevent us from being friends here in person and i hold the same view online when connecting with others. I try my best to give everyone a chance equally just like i do here in my city.
Earlier in my life i produced Electronic Music, it’s all free to Download on Bandcamp with additional links for lossless files on MEGA.
If you’d like to connect, feel free to follow (I follow people back) or say hello on a post instead if you’d like. I use translation software in order to speak to everyone easier worldwide as i enjoy meeting people all over as i enjoy the adventure of seeing your photographs on Flickr!
(*I don’t use Facebook or Twitter and my Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube accounts are archives. This is where to find me daily.)
Thanks for stopping by & checking out my photography 🙂
Much ? From Seattle,
Anya–
