The support of our families can be the foundation for everything we do. Lots of LGBTQ Latinx familia are taking the opportunity this weekend to thank their beautiful mamis, including Jorge Gutierrez (pictured), executive director of Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement, a national LGBTQ Latinx grassroots organization that also provides family acceptance organizing and support.

Moms, thank you for all of your sacrifices, the hard work, the long nights, the struggles, all the acceptance, all the bravery, and all the love. Thank you for listening and understanding. Thank you for loving us for who we are.
