Gay Surgeon Alex Landi is the New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Crush
Grey’s Anatomy is adding castmember Alex Landi this season (the 15th!) as a new gay surgeon, and Popsugar got some details about his storyline from a few of the show’s stars: ‘On the red carpet, so many of the stars teased the impending gay romance, and it sounds like we’re in for quite the lovey-dovey ride. James Pickens Jr., who plays Richard, reveals that one of the Grey Sloan “underlings” may find themselves crushing on the gorgeous new surgeon. “He catches the eye of one of the interns, and it’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out,” he told me. Giacomo Gianniotti also hinted at a rather compromising flirtation — and I’m not just talking about DeLuca’s inevitable tryst with Meredith. “There’s gonna be a power dynamic,” Gianiotti said of Dr. Kim and his mystery man. “Someone might be on a higher level, someone might be on a lower level.” Very interesting indeed.’
