Rapper Cardi B denied posting a transphobic meme on Facebook, claiming: “It’s come to my attention that there have been offensive posts made on what used to be my Facebook page. For the past year and a half a FORMER team member has been the only one with access to the account.”

This apology is a start but you/your team need to be specific in apologizing to the community your posts targeted: the Trans community. A general apology like this isn’t enough, especially when its apparent that this was a repeated behavior you’re only unlearning now.
