Bicurious Man On Why He Chose To Become A Eunuch And What Life Is Like Now

“I definitely felt like an outsider in the town I grew up in,” Christopher tells Queerty in an exclusive interview. “I never shared the desire I felt towards men or to be castrated with anyone. Not even my closest friends.”

Christopher is a 38-year-old divorcee from a small town in rural Louisiana. 18 months ago, he had his testicles surgically removed, which he says was one of the best decisions of his life. Not only does he prefer the look and feel of his new genitalia, but he says the surgery awakened something that was buried deep inside of him.

“Up until now I’ve been with females only, [but] I have desired to be a bottom for a man,” he says. “Once I was castrated, that desire was intensified and I felt it was time to live the dream.”

We spoke to Christopher, who now identifies as a eunuch, about his surgery, why he chose to do it, what the recovery was like, and how sex and has changed for him. Scroll down to see what he had to say…

QUEERTY: For people who don’t know, what is an orchiectomy?

CHRISTOPHER: Put simply, it’s a castration. My testicles were removed from my body. My scrotum is totally empty.

And the obvious question: Why?

I actually had a vasectomy first and suffered some issues with pain from it. So I researched castration and became very intrigued and excited about the idea. I decided I definitely wanted it done. After the surgery, I have been very pleased and excited about the results.

Was it difficult to find a doctor to perform the surgery?

Yes. It was difficult to find a physician who would remove them. Although a female can opt for a hysterectomy and it will be performed without question, it’s not as easy to have a voluntary orchiectomy performed. I have been extremely happy since having it done 18 months ago. My only regret is not pursuing it earlier in life. I enjoy the smoothness it provides. I plan to have my scrotum completely removed in the fall.

What was the recovery period like?

I had a bi lateral orchiectomy, which means my incisions are in my pubic area and the testicles and cords are removed. This type of procedure takes a little while longer to heel. But recovery for me wasn’t bad. I went home right after surgery but couldn’t lift anything or do anything requiring lifting or straining for about six weeks. I did go back to work a couple of days after surgery.

And what has it been like since then?

It’s like having a new toy! I stay undressed for a long time admiring the look of having no testicles. I can easy push my dick back between my legs and slide on a pair of panties and you couldn’t tell the difference of me or female in that area. It looks so much better not to have those saggy balls hanging between my legs. Not to mention sitting is so much much comfortable without them in the way.

How has sex changed for you?

I have sex and masturbate as usual. No real change there. My erections have not changed either. However my semen is clear. That’s really the only change. I do take testosterone on a regular basis. Without it I’m sure I would probably have some erection issues or sex drive issues, but I stay on a hormone replacement schedule. So far, the females I have been with are intrigued and really like the feel of the empty scrotum. At first I was worried about what someone would think when they see that I have no testicles, but everyone so far has loved it.

And now you say you’d like to try having sex with a man.

Yes. Up until now I’ve been with females only. I’m not sure if I could label myself yet as a bi because I haven’t actually experienced sex with a male yet, but I plan to soon. I have desired to be a bottom for a man for a long time. Once I was castrated, that desire was intensified and I felt it was time to live the dream.

Why do you think that was?

I’m not really sure why. All I know is that I was very excited to try it once I had the surgery done. I definitely desire to bottom for another male and service him as a female does. I just want to experience the whole process with a male.

But you haven’t found the right guy yet.

Not yet. I’ve met some guys on Craigslist, although most just want to hookup at a hotel or have a one time thing with no strings attached. I’m very picky about this and I’m seeking a long term thing with someone that will take his time with me and let me learn as I go. I’m not seeking a relationship that’s out in the open, though. Discretion is a must for me. So far I haven’t had any luck finding this, but I will continue looking until I find the right person. I know there is someone out there for me. So I will continue with my search.
