The northern Italian city of Milan still has a large fleet of Series 1500 ‘Peter Witt’ trams, most of which date from 1929! The are not just a tourist attraction either, as they all operate on ordinary routes, many going deep into residential areas. They are great fun to ride on and sound brilliant too.
