As FBI Investigates Kavanaugh, HRC Works to Stop His Nomination Once and For All
While the FBI investigates the credible sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, HRC continues our work to support Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, Julie Swetnick and all survivors of sexual assault.
Countless Americans are making their voice heard. HRC members and supporters have so far made more than 36,000 calls to their Senators to urge them to vote against Kavanaugh’s nomination. Our rapid response team has produced more than a dozen videos urging people from Alaska to Maine to stop Kavanaugh while calling on the Senate to believe survivors.
At every step, we have called out Kavanaugh’s unacceptable stances on LGBTQ equality and health care, and most recently condemned Donald Trump’s abhorrent remarks mocking Dr. Blasey Ford’s testimony.
.@realDonaldTrump has mocked:
A prisoner of war.
A reporter with disabilities.
A gold-star family.
Now, a sexual assault survivor. His cruelty knows no bounds. Let’s make sure he hears us loud and clear in November. pic.twitter.com/AIhpJjHgfi

From the steps of the Supreme Court to cities nationwide, equality voters have rallied in their respective cities to join in solidarity with sexual assault survivors and to demand that Kavanaugh never be seated to our nation’s highest court.
With so much at stake, HRC will continue to reject Kavanaugh’s nomination at every turn. Tonight, HRC Legal Director Sarah Warbelow will be at the Supreme Court to rally against Kavanaugh’s nomination.
Our drumbeat continues as HRC and our coalition allies return to the Supreme Court steps tomorrow to rally fair-minded Americans everywhere to stop his nomination one week after Dr. Ford bravely testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
If you’re unable to attend, you can still make your voice heard. Text SAVE SCOTUS to 30644 TODAY and urge your senator to vote NO on Kavanaugh.
