WISCONSIN, MINNESOTA, CONNECTICUT AND VERMONT HEAD TO THE POLLS: HRC has been on the ground with more staff and resources than ever before to #TurnOUT millions of ‘Equality Voters’ in the lead up to the 2018 election. In Wisconsin, HRC has endorsed a slate of pro-equality candidates in the primary, including Senator Tammy Baldwin; Reps. Mark Pocan, Ron Kind, and Gwen Moore; and Josh Kaul for Attorney General. In Minnesota, HRC is endorsing Senator Amy Klobuchar for re-election and Tina Smith for U.S. Senate. More from ABC.

BECOMES THIRD CITY IN STATE WITH LGBTQ-INCLUSIVE NONDISCRIM ORDINANCE: “Clarksdale’s leaders have taken an important step forward by passing a fully-inclusive nondiscrimination ordinance,” said Rob Hill, HRC Mississippi state director. “Now, Clarksdale will join Jackson and Magnolia as the cities in Mississippi that have taken concrete steps to support their LGBTQ citizens. Now, it is time for other communities in our state to follow in their footsteps and pass policies to protect all Mississippians from bias and discrimination. TODAY — PENCE CAMPAIGNS FOR ANTI-LGBTQ OHIO GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE MIKE DEWINE AND HIS RUNNING MADE JON HUSTED: Vice President Mike Pence will fundraise for Ohio gubernatorial candidate Mike DeWine and his running mate Jon Husted today. Pence, DeWine and Husted have all crusaded against marriage equality and sought to undermine reproductive rights. As Attorney General, DeWine defended the state’s marriage ban, stating that LGBTQ people did not deserve ‘protected-class status.’ More from HRC.
