Alexander Skarsgard works red carpet at Diary of a Teenage Girl premiere in drag
Alexander Skarsgard turned heads – and turned it out – on Monday night (3 August) when he worked the red carpet at the Diary of a Teenage Girl premiere in full drag.
The Swedish heartthrob served Farah Fawcett realness in a blonde feathered wig and glittery gold dress cinched at the waist, accessorized with a metallic silver clutch.
E! Online notes that Skarsgard’s sartorial choice was not completely random but a nod to co-star Joshua Grannell, who also performs in drag as Peaches Christ and plays a transvestite in the film.
And it is not the first time Skarsgard has dragged up. His roles in Kill Your Darlings in 2006 and True Blood also had him in drag.
