Adele Teases New Track During UK X Factor Broadcast: LISTEN
Viewers watching UK’s X Factor were treated to a short tease of what is widely believed to be the first new music from Adele since 2012’s “Skyfall”. Her third studio album is rumored to be released in November.
The 30-second spot featured nothing more than a black screen with a lyric: “HELLO / It’s me / I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet / To go over / everything / they say that time’s supposed to heal ya / but I ain’t done much healing.”
Adele reportedly collaborated on the album with Danger Mouse, Max Martin, and Ryan Tedder (One Republic).
Shortly after the UK promo aired. The One Republic Twitter account pretty much confirmed what had been heard:
