LAWMAKERS INTRODUCE “BE HEARD IN THE WORKPLACE ACT” TO PROTECT LGBTQ EMPLOYEES: The legislation — introduced by Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and Reps. Katherine Clark (D-MA), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Elissa Slotkin (D-MA) and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-FL) — aims to prevent sexual harassment and other forms of workplace harassment and discrimination, including on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
