Must-See LGBTQ TV: Batwoman in the ‘Arrowverse’ crossover, ‘Counterpart’ premiere, and Pentatonix Christmas special

The annual three night Arrowverse crossover “Elseworlds” airs Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night. Combing The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, the crossover takes the shows into Gotham City for the first time, and introduces Batwoman to the universe. Portrayed by out actress Ruby Rose, Batwoman is a celebrated lesbian hero of the comics, and will ideally be getting her own spinoff in the Arrowverse next year. Elseworlds: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 8pm on The CW.
Season two of spy sci-fi drama Counterpart premieres on Starz this Sunday. The show follows spies who venture into an alternative universe and their doubles in that world. A member of the main ensemble is lesbian assassin Baldwin who abandoned contract killing at the end of season one. We are excited to see where the second season takes her storyline. Counterpart: Sunday, 9pm on Starz.
Acapella supergroup Pentatonix is back for another Christmas special this Monday. The group consists of Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee, Scott Hoying, and Mitch Grassi, the latter two being out gay men. This will be their third special singing to celebrate Christmas on NBC, and their fourth album Christmas is Here!. The special will also include special guests such as Kelly Clarkson and The Backstreet Boys. Pentatonix: A Not So Silent Night: Monday, 10pm on NBC.
