Must-See LGBTQ TV: The premiere of ‘TransMilitary,’ ‘The Bisexual’ premieres on Hulu, the People’s Choice Awards,

The People’s Choice Awards will air this Sunday, where fans vote on their favorites in pop culture across film, music, TV, and more! Some of the exciting LGBTQ-inclusive nominations include four out of five of the Comedy Movie of the Year nominations with Love, Simon, Blockers, Crazy Rich Asians, and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, and Deadpool 2 getting a nomination for Action Movie. LGBTQ-inclusive TV shows with nominations include Grey’s Anatomy, Shadowhunters, The Handmaid’s Tale, Orange is the New Black, Modern Family, One Day at a Time, Queer Eye, and more! On Thursday, Logo will premiere the documentary TransMilitary, the festival favorite film that chronicles transgender service members serving in this country.The film has received rave reviews and audience awards at festivals around the country and will now can reach a wider audience, it is the first film to receive completion funding from the GLAAD Media Institute. TransMilitary: Thursday, 8pm on Logo.

The new comedy  series The Bisexual premieres on Friday on Hulu. The series from out bi writer, director, actor Desiree Akhavan centers on Leila (Akhavan) who begins exploring her bisexuality after breaking up with her long-term girlfriend, Sadie, who she owns a a tech company with. The Bisexual will explore dating, stereotypes, and more from a bi+ point of view. The Bisexual: Friday on Hulu.

She-Ra and the Princess of Power will be released on Netflix this Friday. From out queer creator Noelle Stevenson, the show follows an orphan, Adora, who gets magically transformed into the titular Princess of Power, with a whole team of magical girls. According to voice actress Krystal Joy Brown’s Instagram, her character of Netossa is in a relationship with another girl, Spinnerella, voiced by Stevenson.
