Supporting survivors of sexual and gender-based violence to heal and work again

Rita is a member of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community which is persecuted in Uganda. She ran away from her country for fear that her life was in danger. She hopes attitudes will change and she will be able to return home. While in Kakuma, she is taking online courses in psychology and hopes to one day help others who may find themselves in her situation.
