MICHIGAN CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION TO CONTINUE INVESTIGATING ANTI-LGBTQ DISCRIMINATION, DESPITE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CLAIMS: Michigan AG — and candidate for Governor — Bill Schuette asserted that under the state’s Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act LGBTQ residents are not protected from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
