Queen’s Cousin to Marry in Royal Family’s First Gay Wedding
Lord Ivar Mountbatten, Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, who come out as gay in an article in the Mail on Sunday in September 2016, and made history as the first member of the Royal Family to come out of the closet, is getting married. Ivar is a a great-great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria. He met Coyle at Verbier, a resort in Switzerland.
Lord Ivar’s former wife Penny, will give him away when he marries Coyle on Mountbatten’s country estate in Devon, UK, according to a lengthy Daily Mail report in the New Zealand Herald.
