Police Arrest An Eight-Year-Old Girl For “Lesbianism”
An eight-year-old girl has been taken into police custody over accusations of “lesbianism.”
Uganda is one of the worst places in the world to be LGBTQ, with a penalty of possible life in prison for anyone found engaging in sexual acts with someone of the same sex.

Jinja Police Child Family Protection, which is based in the eastern region of the country, claims they brought the child in for questioning after a neighbor reported witnessing her “luring” female friends to a nearby farm where they would engage in sex acts.
The girl is said to have admitted under questioning to having engaged in similar behavior at school.
Authorities are investigating the adults in her life to see if someone might have “influenced” the girl.
Catherine Wobuyaga, head of the Jinja Police Child Family Protection unit, cautions parents to watch out for people who “lure underage children into illicit relationships.”

Uganda recently considered a bill that would have made homosexuality punishable by death. American evangelicals have had an influence over the country, as well as over Africa in general, encouraging them to pass viciously antigay laws.
This year, police broke up a pride event in Uganda and arrested approximately 20 people, moments after an Orlando tribute.
