Ty Herndon set to headline July 30 concert to benefit Orlando

The latest in the outpouring of support following the tragic events that took place at Pulse nightclub last month will occur on Saturday, July 30, when out country music star Ty Herndon takes the stage for a one-night-only show in Orlando. Proceeds from the event will benefit the victims, survivors, and families, via the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida and Equality Florida. GLAAD is a supporting partner.

Ty Herndon burst onto the country music scene in 1995 with his number one single, “What Mattered Most.” Herndon has since had 17 singles on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The night will feature some of his most recognized hits, as well as releases from his most recent album, “Lies I Told Myself.”

Last year, Herndon partnered with GLAAD to host the first ever LGBT-inclusive concert at CMA Fest in Nashville, the groundbreaking Concert for Love & Accpeptance. Herndon also sings on, “Hands,” the Orlando benefit singled released by GLAAD and Interscope Records. Click here to download the song, which has already charted in thirty-nine countries worldwide. 

The show will also feature special appearances from two of Orlando’s brightest country artists, Sean Holcomb and Paige Keiner.
