Earlier this month, GLAAD launched the #GLAADAt30 campaign to celebrate 30 years of culture-changing work. As part of the campaign, GLAAD today also launched an interactive digital timeline that traces some of GLAAD’s biggest victories, from its founding in 1985 to today. 

Like #GLAADAt30‘s social media initiative, the timeline features archival materials such as images, letters, invitations, newspapers, and advertisements, as well as detailed information about GLAAD’s history. From GLAAD’s consultation on film and TV scripts, to advertising campaigns designed to change the hearts and minds, GLAAD has always been at the forefront of cultural change, accelerating acceptance for LGBT people across the world. This timeline gives people a chance to explore many of GLAAD’s accomplishments from the last 30 years.
