This year, HRC is committed to moving #EqualityForward.
HRC will continue to work with lawmakers and advocates to pass the Equality Act in Congress, as well as work towards strong anti-discrimination protections at the local and state levels.
We will continue the fight against HIV & AIDS, anti-transgender violence and will make sure that all families are treated equally. We will work to increase critical protections and policies through our Healthcare Equality Index, Municipal Equality Index, State Equality Index and Corporate Equality Index for a more advanced and inclusive society.
We will work with advocates from around the world, from Australia to China, Mongolia, South Africa and Turkey to advance equality worldwide.
We wish you a happy new year and hope you can join us in celebrating the victories and remembering the moments of the past year, as well as what lays ahead in 2016.
