Adele Returns With Gorgeous Video Directed By Xavier Dolan
Every singer can just take the rest of the day off because Adele has just released “Hello,” her first single since “Skyfall,” her Oscar-winning James Bond theme. The gorgeous sepia-toned six-minute video that accompanies the single was directed with IMAX cameras by Canadian wunderkind Xavier Dolan, the out director of Mommy and Tom at the Farm. The video finds Adele trying to make peace with a failed relationship. The Wire‘s Tristan Wilds plays her ex in flashbacks, with most of his scenes filmed from the perspective of the powerhouse vocalist.
