Watch the Westboro Baptist Church get run out of town by high school students
The Westboro Baptist Church have been drowned out, shut out and yelled at, but this time they were full on ran out of town by high school students before they could breathe one word of homophobic spite.
The God Hates Fags church had come to Gladstone, Missouri to protest against the election of trans student Landon Patterson as homecoming queen of Oak Park High School.
Hundreds of high school students, church groups and activists came together to ensure they could not do a single thing to hate on the young teen. They did this from blocking their signs with messages of love and shouting louder than them.
Posters included ‘queers support each other’ and ‘God loves trans teens’.

In a video posted online, you could hear the crowd shout: ‘Love live the queen.’
According to people who were there, they didn’t even make it to the school before they were forced to make a run for it.
