The Adventure
Our Adventurer returned to Opera. The music, the sights, the magic called back to them.
It had more to show Honey. Opera was even more transformed, more beautiful somehow than the first time the nymph had visited. The nymph’s own magic seemed to vibrate and hum to the same frequency the magic of Opera did. Almost as if our nymph’s heart and that of the land’s beat in tandem.
This time Honey arrived during the evening, with fires ablaze and joyous music sounding from her great halls. The streets filled with people sharing in laughter, love, and no small bit of debauchery. Everyone was having such a good time, the evening felt enchanted .
Opera seemed to pull from them the parts of Honey’s desires they deny to themself for feeling unworthy of such wonderful moments, and here the land responds with a triumphant Yes you are! . Perhaps that is part of the lesson our adventurer is on, part of what they seek to save their own home is that feeling of worthiness. Love, especially self-love, is the greatest of magics after all.
